POSTGRADUATES STUDIES
A master's degree program at the Open Christian University/GLBC is a 45-credit undertaking completed over an estimated duration of 1.5 years according to the following structure.
All Open Christian University/GLBC Doctoral programs are research undertakings requiring the student to conduct and publish research outputs that contribute to the body of knowledge in their mission areas. While professional doctorates at OCU/GLBC consist of 60 credits, with an estimated competition period of 2 years, doctorates of philosophy (PhDs) consist of 90 research credits with an estimated completion period of 3 years. The difference between the two endovours lies in the number of publications required. Professional doctorates require students to submit two papers and a thesis, while doctorates require one additional paper. However, students pursuing professional doctorates are encouraged to replace research requirements with real-world projects and innovations to contribute to ministry practices in their areas of practice.
Course Description
This foundational course introduces students to the study of God, also known as theology. Students will learn the value of theology, survey and understand the biblical basis for traditional Christian beliefs as outlined in the Apostles’ Creed, and develop basic skills in reading theology.
Ordination, Ministers licenses and Consecrations of Bishops is done through Grace Life World Outreach.
